An experienced financial advisor, Joel Tovel has held sales and finance positions in China, Japan, and Thailand. Most recently, he served as a financial advisor with Comerica Securities in San Francisco, where he provided business development, networking, and financial consulting to customers of the bank’s wealth management division. Joel Tovel holds Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), as well as a California State and Disability Insurance License.
After beginning his studies at Vanier College, Joel Tovel received a bachelor of arts in marketing from Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. A member of the Concordia University Alumni Association, he is a board member and the founder and president of the group’s Seattle and San Francisco chapters. In addition, Mr. Tovel plays an active role in various community organizations, serving as a board member with the Anti-Defamation League's San Francisco regional chapter and as a member of the Professional Advisor's Network of the Business Leadership Council of San Francisco. When he is not working, he enjoys skiing and playing guitar.
